Let's Get Skinny is a collage and mixed media course done on substrates with unusual dimensions - long and narrow. In the course, you will watch me make 3 paintings. One measuring 6"x24", and two measuring 3.5"x 38". Each painting shows various techniques for creating the collage papers, and creating the textural elements. I have found that students really excel in this course because the extreme proportions of the substrate make composition so simple. In addition to the three demo paintings, there are 4 bonus sections showing how to make texture materials.
